Market Analysis of Specialized Software
Client: OSCE
The Ukrainian representation of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) approached MCG with a research question about commercially available software for collecting and analyzing data from surveillance drones (Electronic Light Table) on the global market.
Research Objectives
- Analysis of software options available on the market (with details regarding developers, representatives, and organizations offering ELT software or similar products).
- Comparison of price proposals.
To address these objectives, a comprehensive research strategy was employed, which included open-source analysis (desk research), express interviews with experts in image analysis and processing, consultations with representatives of international and Ukrainian companies, and more.
Results
- A database of software and suppliers was compiled.
- An assessment of the software's compliance with the client's technical requirements was conducted.
- A price analysis of licenses, maintenance, and support was performed.
- Recommendations for software selection were provided.
The client received a systematized list of alternative programs, which will allow them to choose the optimal specialized software.
