Content Analysis of Fishing Videos

MCG specialists analyzed the effectiveness and competitiveness of the client's YouTube video content.

Research Objectives

  1. To formulate criteria for selecting video material for analysis.
  2. To define comparison parameters.
  3. To review the client's video materials, assigning specific parameter values to each.
  4. To similarly analyze the video materials of key competitors.
  5. To formulate recommendations for improving the competitiveness of the company's video materials.

Research Process

The research was conducted using the content analysis method. The main comparison criteria were chronology (video release year 2016, 2018, 2020) and theme (atmospheric video, educational video, video about a specific type of fishing tackle).

After analyzing approximately 40 videos, MCG analysts created the client's communication profile, identified key differences from competitors, and pinpointed areas requiring adjustment.
